after the school day ends. The hours for this position are 2:00pm – 6:00pm.
Candidates for Extended Day Coordinator will plan activities and coordinate communications with
families and Pinewoods staff. This position includes pay for planning and is scheduled for 2-6, each
day the school is in session. Opportunities for full-time summer employment are also open to the
person who fills this position.
Extended Day/After School Teachers may choose to work 3 or 5 days per week. The hours for this
position are 2:30pm – 5:30pm.
The strongest candidates will demonstrate strong organizational skills, skilled emotion regulation,
experience with relational behavioral management or restorative justice practices, experience
working with children in a child- centered, play-based or classroom environment, the ability to design
and implement engaging programming that supports the social, emotional, academic, artistic, and
physical development of young children.
Required knowledge, dispositions, and skills:
