Frequently Asked Questions
Is 20 minutes enough time?
Yes! Many times, we get the best shot in the first part of the session, when everyone has high energy. It might not be happen for all families, but it's definitely doable. What should we wear?
My recommendations are simple: no black, no white, no loud patterns and no 'character' clothes or messages on clothing. But in the end, it's up to you. You can all match perfectly or you can coodinate in shades of the same color or texture. The more coordinated you are, the more cohesive the picture will be. That doesn't always mean fancy clothes, though. Think comfort above all else, particularly for kids! How do we find you?
Please park in the Gold Park parking lot and walk around the baseball diamond to the left. You'll see the train trestle and the Riverwalk entrance. I will be there to greet you and we'll walk to the location. It won't be far. How many locations can we try?
I will have two locations scoped out for us, depending on your group and the time of day. With mini-sessions, we won't have time to go wandering. Can we do different groupings?
Yes, depending on time. If the shoot is going well, we can try individual children or just the adults or other combinations. It all depends on your family's comfort level to see what we can do in our 20 minutes together. What if we are running late?
Please text me immediately at 919-201-1293. I built some breaks into day in case groups are late starting or go over by a few minutes. If you will not attend at all, please let me know as soon as you can. If you would kindly make your $40 donation to Pinewoods anyway, that would be appreciated since slots are limited. What if it rains?
If it's cloudy, we are still on. Because clouds are so much better than sun for photography. But if it's actively raining, we'll cancel. Please provide your contact number in case of inclement weather issues. |
